He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sebastian Merk and Bibiana Merk (Dopfer); his uncle George Dopfer of Fox Lake; his siblings, Bibiana Siegel of Leutkirch, Johann Merk of Kempten, Germany and George Merk (Linda) of Columbus, IN; his aunt Dorothy Dopfer; and also George Dopfer (Dorothy). He was also cherished by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
