He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Unser and Marcella Unser (Engel); his sons, Tommy and Joey; his father-in-law Jack Smith (Verna); his brother Art Unser; and his siblings-in-law, Phil Kumba and Arlene Moyle.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor A. Smith; his sons, John Unser (Leah) of South Elgin, IL and Pete Unser (Jess Ehlers) of Fox Lake; his grandchildren, Luke Schmidt (Amanda) of Fond, Lac of Waupun, Meghan Schmidt of Waupun and Nolan Unser (Sierra Evers) of Waupun; his great grandchild Lilith Martin; his siblings, Ann Petri (Dick) of Rice Lake, Judy Maus (Glen) of Princeton and John Unser (Becky) of Brookfield; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Unser of Brookfield and Dorothy Kumba of Beaver Dam. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
