George J. Salaj Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George J. Salaj (Fox Lake, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 2, 2024 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George J. Salaj to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Salaj and Marie Salaj; his brother Jim; his parents-in-law, Alta and Otto Schiltz; and his sister-in-law Mary Bayer (John).
He is survived by: his wife Judith Salaj; his children, Scott Salaj (Laura), Sunni Fritz (Jim), Sandi Konrath (David), Sara Cummings (Mike) and Sue Kuchler (Chad); his grandchildren, Kaylee Treesh (Adam), Kristine Mattila (Vance), Joshua Fritz (Hannah), Danika Salaj, Chaz Konrath, Kurtis Fritz (Danielle), Carson Kuchler, Connor Cummings, Bryce Kuchler, Aaron Cummings and Leah Cummings; his sister-in-law Nancy Wipperfurth (Keith); and also George.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Annunciation Catholic Church-Fox Lake (305 Green St, Fox Lake, WI 53933). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in George's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Children's Hospital of WI, honoring his lifelong commitment to nurturing and supporting the next generations.
