It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita A. Pehler of Fountain City, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 8, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stella Scholmeier (Landwehr) and Alois Scholmeier; her husband William R. Pehler of Winona; and her siblings, Lucille Wolfe, Mary Duellman and James Scholmeier.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia (Mike Christopher) of Monument, CO and Sandy Reed (Joe); her grandchildren, James Reed and Kaitlin Esser (Dan); her great grandchild Sebastian Esser; and her pet Ebby. She is also survived by many relatives, friends.
