He is survived by: his daughter Karen Hurst; his sisters, Charolette Faye, Gracie and Shalmay; his grandchildren, Jackie, Chris, Billy, Brian, Daniel and Whitney; his great grandchild Niya Lee; and his daughter-in-law Wanda Hurst.
