He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Burt and Ethel Burt (Peterson); his son Dan; and his siblings, Joan Zukoski and David.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Sing; his son Tim (Rosemary) of Stillwater, MN; his grandchildren, Matt (Nicole), Adam, Sarah and Andrew; his daughter-in-law Brenda Burt of Fountain City; his grandchildren-in-law, Jill Thomas (Patrick), Mark and Jeni; his great grandchildren, Connor and Emma; his brothers, Wendell Jr. (Cindy) and Dennis (Marilyn); his parents-in-law, Richard Sing, Mary Mueller, Ed Sing (Joyce), Gretchen Burt and Ken Zukoski; and his aunt Verna Gunderson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St Michael's Lutheran Church of Fountain City or the Fountain City Fire Department building fund.
