He was predeceased by: his brother Jeff; and his mother-in-law Jacqueline Kujak. He is survived by: his mother Bernice Semling (Przybylski); his wife Diane Kujak; his father Jim Semling; his father-in-law David Kujak; his children, Matthew Semling (Julia), Kristen Papenfuss (Matthew) and Katie Storandt (Alan); his grandchildren, Emerson, Hayden, Calvin, Madelyn, Ava, Ella and Isla; his siblings, Alan Semling (Charlotte) and Darci Halverson (David); and his siblings-in-law, Joe Kujak, Michael Kujak (Tracy), Brenda Kujak and Carol Hunger (Tom).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to the First Responders at S2972 Waumandee Creek Road Fountain City, WI 54629 or the Hunt for Heroes at PO Box 84, Cochrane, Wisconsin 54622 in care of VFW post 10406.
