He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Smith and June Smith (Seavert); his brother Larry Smith; and his nephew Jason Smith. He is survived by: his wife Donna Kopps (Lonsdale); his pets, Zoey and Lexi; his stepson Kevin Kopps (Heidi) of Waukesha; his stepgrandchildren, Nolan and Brynn Kopps; his brother Jerry Smith (Karen) of La Feria, TX; and his half-sisters, Nancy Ross (Jim) of Fort Atkinson and Pat Barber of Syracuse, N. Y..
