He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Brandenburg and Ardeth Brandenburg (Shultis); his wife Marcia; and his siblings, David Brandenburg and Caroline Shere.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Brandenburg Jr. (Alice), James Brandburg (Peggy), David Brandenburg, Pamela Guy (David) and Janneen Au (Robert); his grandchildren, Dashley, Sierra, Olivia, Sawyer, Emerson, Lesleigh, Kate, Luke, Christian, Brianna, Samantha, Cheyanne and Robb; his close friend Pretty Girl; his brother Robert Brandenburg; and his daughter Mary Jane Lueder.
