He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lorenzo Godina and Virginia Godina of Laredo, TX.; his wife Elena P. Godina; and his children, Maria Godina Castillo, Maria Godina Gonzalez, Refugio Godina Jr., Angel Godina, David Godina, Andy Godina, Peter Godina, Juan Godina and Carlos "Charlie" Godina. He was also cherished by 16 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 2 daughters-in-law and 6 siblings.
