Minnie L. Gess Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Minnie L. Gess of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, born in Palmyra, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 24, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Hooper and Laura Hooper (Giles); her husband Ronald Gess; her brother Walter; and her brother-in-law Kenneth Rheineck.

She is survived by: her children, Rich Gess (Jean) of Hebron, Kathy Scheier (Tom) of Dalton, Rod Gess of Hebron and Kris Boehm (Bob) of Cumberland; her grandchildren, Josh, Renee, Laura, Sarah, Kevin, John, Katie and Tracy; her sister-in-law Marilyn Rheineck; and her niece Corinne Rheineck. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Bark River Woods Historical Society.
