He was predeceased by: his adoptive parents, John Kern and Barbara Kern (Hauf). He is survived by: his wife Virginette Kern of Fort Atkinson; his children, Steve Kern (Margaret) and Michelle LaTorella; his granddaughter Emily Kern; his sister Bernadette Mitchelle; and his stepsister Caroline Ryback.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (1660 Endl Blvd, Fort Atkinson, WI 53538). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
