It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Laurie Williams of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, born in Jefferson, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 13, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mark Quest and Helen Quest (Schneberger); her siblings, Gerald, Donald, Charlie, Robert, Irving Quest and Mary Korth; her son Mark Goss; her foster daughter Jeannie Schneider; and her stepson Ken Williams.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Goss; her children, Jason, Amy, Mitch Goss (Melody) and Lisa Root (Wade); her grandchildren, Bruce Root (Tara), Garret Root (Terry Blankenship), Vincent Root (Ilse), Jessica Olsen (Rian) and Amanda Ives; and her great grandchildren, Damian Root, Prim Blankenship, Indy Root, Mikayla, Lexi, Bryce Ives, Allison and Jackson Olsen.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Jefferson County Humane Society in Laurie's name, as she was a great animal advocate.
