He is survived by: his children, Debbie Miller (Don McDermott) of Fort Atkinson and Jim O'Neil (Ava) of Jefferson; his stepchildren, Rene Hustad (Kirk) of Wonewoc and Chuck Nicoly (Liz) of Madison; his grandchildren, Michelle McDermott (Travis) of Johnson Creek and Karolina O'Neil of Jefferson; his stepgrandchildren, Sarah Hamann (Monty), Josh, Isaac, Hannah, Chloe Hustad and Blair Nicoly; his great grandchild Kinley McDermott; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Dorthea, Kayela, Landon and Ethan Hamann; and his sister Patricia Brandt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
