She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Koebke and Phyllis Koebke (Brown); her husband Derl Hicks; and her sister Marilyn Martin (Jack). She is survived by: her son Jason Hicks; and her siblings, Kent Koebke (Dianna), Dale Koebke (Ruth Ann), Alan Koebke (Marie) and DAnn Koebke (Shawn).

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Jefferson County Humane Society.
