He is survived by: his mother Norma Christianson Messmer of Fort Atkinson; his siblings, Scott Messmer of Fort Atkinson, Mark Messmer (Marie) of Edgerton, Jane Oakley (John) of Fort Atkinson and Carla Gilbert of Milton; his nieces and nephews, Brittney, Ashley Messmer, Courtney, Sinead Oakley, Meaghan Messmer, Michael Oakley and Joshua Gilbert; his cousins, Todd Messmer and Pamela Lamke; and his aunt Connie Messmer.
