He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Kirby and Leah Getty; his stepfather Jim Getty; and his daughter Heather Mather. He is survived by: his wife Kim Sorrel; his children, Sarah Rimmer (Tim), Jarod Kirby (Mylissa) and Kayla Kirby; and his sisters, Karen Vernon (James) and Sharon Kirby (Albert). He is also survived by several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
