She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Wessel and Anna Wessel (Wojtalewicz). She is survived by: her husband Thomas Opalewski; her daughters, Ruth, Margaret, Carol, Suzanne and Joan; and her grandchildren, Skyler, Jack, Abby and Anna.
