Fern R. Scott Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fern R. Scott of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, born in Cuba City, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 21, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Harris and Zella Harris (Cusack); her husband DuWayne Scott; and her siblings, Dale Harris, Orlin Harris, Mary Helen Walter (Harris) and Hazel Walter (Harris).
She is survived by: her sons, Richard D. Scott of Madison and Paul A. Scott (Lynette) of Madison; her grandchildren, Sara Scott of Washington, DC and Michael Scott of Fort Bragg; and her sister Verna Glasgow (Harris) of Scales Mound, Illinois. She is also survived by her family, as well as her many friends and neighbors.
She was a member of the Fort Atkinson Garden Club, a volunteer with the Fort Atkinson Hospital's Telecare Program, and took great pride in being a blood donor – eventually earning her 10-gallon donation pin from the Red Cross.
