She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert G Buchanan and Amy Buchanan (Armit); her siblings, Dean and Earl; her husband Charles E Perkin Sr. (Chuck); her son Charles E Perkin Jr. (Butch); and her grandson Charles E Perkin III (Chucky).
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Diane. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Doris's name may be made to the Humane Society of Jefferson County.
