He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynn Riess and Orabelle Riess (Draves); and his siblings, Jim, Roy, Ronnie, Jerry "Tuffy", Kenny and Sharon Riess.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Riess of Fort Atkinson; his children, Tracy Jones (Seth) of Jefferson, Michael Hotter (Michelle) of Oshkosh and Andrew Hotter (Pee) of Janesville; his grandchildren, Ethan, Mikey, Madden, Maren, Sammy and David; and his sisters, Marilyn Baars (Ken) of Portage and Sue Hake of Fort Atkinson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
