She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dale Smithback and Ruth Smithback (Foss) of Whitewater; her husband Thomas Pierce of Fort Atkinson; her children, Christopher Pierce (Stacey) of Fort Atkinson and Mallory Klaphake (Jonathan) of St. Cloud, MN.; her granddaughter Ryann Pierce; and her siblings, Douglas Smithback (Lisa) of Edgerton and Lisa Butler (John) of St. Augustine, FL..

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to Rainbow Hospice or Trinity Lutheran Church.
