He was predeceased by: his daughter Amy; his sisters, Marlene LaPlant and Coreen Deans; his brother-in-law David Deans; and his nephew Paul Deans.
He is survived by: his cousin Jeff Hoffman; his nieces and nephews, Keith, Kevin Becker (Lori), John Deans, Karen Frater (Scott) and Barbara Deans; and his brother-in-law John LaPlant. He is also survived by cousins and many friends.
