He is survived by: his wife Norma; his children, Vicki Polcen (Mel), Sturgeon Bay, Michael Kay of Cadott, Tom Kay (Chris) of Forestville, Linda DeKeyser (Mark) of Brussels and Paul Kay (Judy) of Kolberg; and his friend Oliver. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.
