We are sad to announce that on September 11, 2023, at the age of 97, Beatrice G. Bretl of Forestville, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Marin and Anna Zettel Marin; her husband Lee; her siblings, Wallace, Robert Marin and Margaret Marin; her half-siblings, Cletus, Joseph, Andrew, Sylvester Zettel, Lawrence Marin, Josie Vandertie, Georgian Massart and Lucy Baudhuin; and her siblings-in-law, Guy Bretl, Virginia Reed and Marie Mueller.

She is survived by: her close friend Joe Zaiman; her children, Thomas Bretl (Patty) of Monona, WI, John Bretl (Teresa) of San Diego, CA, Paul Bretl (Kathy) of Waukesha, WI, Monica Rehberg (Michael) of Lake Como, WI, Anthony Bretl (Julie) of Sun Prairie, WI, Denise Bjerregaard (Bill) of Franksville, WI, Daniel Bretl of Vienna, VA and Donald Bretl (Jane) of Cincinnati, OH; her sisters-in-law, Vicky Bretl and Betty Curtiss; her caregiver Mimi; and also, Bob and Julie Roach.
