He is survived by: his wife Carol; his grandchildren, Jake, Jeremy, Josh Nushart, Dylan Holtz, Leah Brey and Lydia Brey; his stepgrandchildren, Lee Roehl, Travis Roehl (Heidi) and Jill Roehl; his siblings, Betty Brehmer (Roger), Dick Holtz (Joyce), Glen Richter (Sharon), Joan Behnke (Allen), Ardyce Svateck (John) and Barb Keltesch (Steve); his close friends, Chuck Roehrborn and Linda Roehrborn; and also, Kurt Holtz (Linda), Lori Nushart (Ken) and Angela Brey (Tim). He is also survived by nephews who shared his passion of farming: Eli, Ethan, and Isaac Staudinger; other nieces and nephews.
