He was predeceased by: his sisters, Betty and Bonnie. He is survived by: his wife Dixie Jonas; his daughters, Jennifer Walhout (Peter) and Margaret Dietrich (Seth); his grandchildren, Jacob (Anne Tyler), Nathan (Nicole), Abigail, Samuel, Elizabeth and Isaiah James; his brother Ken Jonas; his nephew Larry Niedert; and his niece Janet Carter.
