He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Heinz and Anna Heinz (Kaiser); his son Timothy Heinz; and his brother Stephen Heinz. He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Dorer); his daughter Christine Alfirevich (John); and his grandchildren, Nicholas Heinz, John Alfirevich, Olivia Alfirevich and Joseph Alfirevich.
