He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Markowski and Valentine Markowski; his wife Wilma Poblitz; his siblings, Peter, August, Anthony, Josephine, Genevieve and Barbara; and his siblings-in-law, Donald Shurpit, Alexander Shilobrit, Robert Grasee, Marlene Poblitz and Nora Jean Markowski (Anthony).
He is survived by: his son Gary Markowski (Lynn); his grandchildren, Megan Taddy (Erik) and Ethan Markowski (Lidia); his great grandchildren, Lillian Taddy and James Markowski; his sisters, Mary Shurpit and Frances Grasee; his sister-in-law Lorraine Markowski; and his close friend Beverly Immel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
