He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin H. Stahmann and Mildred M. Will Stahmann; and his sister Lila. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Stahmann of Fond du Lac; his sons, Donald Stahmann (Katie) of Town and Dale Stahmann of Marshfield; his grandchildren, Hannah, Matthew, Elizabeth, Gretchen and Victoria; his siblings, Ronald Stahmann (Debra) of Chilton, Rosemary Van Treeck (Jerry) of Racine, David Stahmann (Lynn) of Gwinn, MI, Fred Stahmann (Marge Konen) of Fond du Lac, Deborah Kimpel (Dave Stewart) of Fond du Lac, Brenda Kimpel of Fond du Lac, Dawn Adams (Robert) of Fond du Lac and Nancy Kibler (Robert) of Fond du Lac; and his close friend Charles Carpenter of Fond du Lac. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
