He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugo Breister and Marcella Breister (Stratz); his parents-in-law, Gregor and Caecilia Sabel; his son Greg Breister; his siblings, Clayton Breister (Sophie), Ken Breister (Bea), Jack Breister (LaVerne), Genevieve Kelly, William Breister (Barbara) and David Breister; and his in-laws, Othmar Sabel (Darlene) and Priscilla Ries (Eugene).
He is survived by: his wife Angie; his sons, Paul Breister (Linda) and Terry Breister (Karla); his daughter-in-law Renee Breister (Tom Schuettpelz); his grandchildren, Brooke Jester (Christopher), Adam, Alex (Taylor), Andrew, Sean and Bailey Breister; and his sister-in-law Cecelia Breister. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Francis Home, Holy Family Catholic Community, the Broken Bread program, or the charity of one's choice.
