Norine E. Metzger Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Norine E. Metzger of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, born in Trenton, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 11, 2024 at the age of 70. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Theis and Margaret Theis (Smithey); her parents-in-law, Theodore and Betty Metzger; and her uncle Theodore Smithey.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Metzger of Matthew's Lutheran Church; her children, Christine Obenauer, Lara Birkholz (Chad), Carl Metzger, Emily Stoering (Josiah), Paul Metzger (Kanda) and Rev. Peter Metzger (Lydia); her grandchildren, Zephania Obenauer, Nathan Birkholz (Shelby), Samantha Birkholz, Allyssa Pruss (Gabriel), Joseph Metzger, Solomon Stoering, Johnathan Stoering, Elizabeth Stoering, Daniel Stoering, Anika, Moses, Natasha, Tatyana Metzger, Franklin and James Metzger; her great grandchild Emilia Birkholz; her sisters, Karen Koepsell (Ronald) and Brenda Metzger (Thomas); and her siblings-in-law, Kathleen Hintz (Wally), Roberta Tokarski, Martha Kowalski, James Metzger (Anna) and Matthew Metzger. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
