He was predeceased by: his parents, Armond Heimerl and Eleanora Thill Heimerl; his spouse Shirley M. Schlief; his son-in-law Rich Scheberl; his siblings, Marvin Heimerl and Melanie Heimerl; and his siblings-in-law, Tony Testolin, Arlene and Gladys Heimerl.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry Albert (Jim) of Fond du Lac and Steve Heimerl (Carla) of Neshkoro; his grandsons, Michael Narance (Kim) and Matthew Narance (Jodi); his great grandchildren, Travis (Brittaney), Lexi (Sam), Logan (Vanessa), Ella, Mitchell (Amanda) and Devon; his great great grandchildren, Enzo, Jaxton, Braelynn, Teagan and Vivian; his sister Marlayne Testolin of Madison; and his close friend Dolores Mayer of Mayville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
