He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary; his father Professor of Theology; and his stepchildren, Joshua, Sally, Luke, Kourtney, Isaiah, Sara, Anna, Phil, Zachary and Crystal. He was also cherished by five children and their spouses.

Memorials may be directed to The Fond du Lac Center for Spirituality and Healing.
