With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Louise C. Thiel of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2025 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Schnell and Stella Schnell (Madigan); her husband Wallace Thiel; her grandson Travis Komosa; her siblings, John Schnell (Evelyn), Helen Kaderabek (Otto), Bernice Zielke (Stephen), Kenneth Schnell (Marie), Francis Schnell and Alice Dudarenke (Walter); her siblings-in-law, Eugene Paulson, Edmund Mikalofsky, Ronald Kampmann, Donald Lauer, Merlin Krull, Jerome Thiel and LouAnn Thiel; and also Joseph Schnell.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Thiel (Mary), Kathleen Lemke (Joseph), Russell Thiel (Michelle), Patrick Thiel (Kathleen), Randall Thiel (Michele Laux) and Renee Komosa (David); her grandchildren, Michelle Bucher (Timothy), Michael Thiel (Rachel), Lauren Howard (Nate), James Lemke (Amanda), Jennifer Michener (Matthew), Julia Zeleske (Nick), Zachary Thiel (Rachel DeBroux), Jacob Thiel (Ashley), Timothy Thiel (Trina), William Thiel (Sara), Bradley Thiel, Sara Komosa (Nick Konen) and Austin Komosa (Taiyana); her great grandchildren, Isla, Simon Bucher, Wallace, Wells Thiel, Madelyn Thiel and Luka Komosa; her siblings, Gladys Paulson, Grace Mikalofsky and James Schnell (Margie); and her siblings-in-law, Patricia Schnell, Lavern Kampmann, Jean Lauer, Judith Krull and Herbert Thiel, Jr. (Magaret Heschke). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (n8794 County Rd W, Malone, WI 53049). A Mass will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
