She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Thurman and Rosalie Thurman (Gross); her husband John "Jack" E. Mabie of Joseph's Catholic Church; her sons, Timothy and Daniel Mabie; her granddaughter Molly Mabie; her son-in-law David Lodes; and her siblings, Reverend James Thurman, Jack Thurman and Joan Thurman-Balthazor.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Lodes of Pewaukee; her daughters-in-law, Diane Mabie of Green Bay and Barb Mabie of Plymouth; her sister Peggy Laehn of Fond du Lac; and her close friend Eileen Steffen. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to SSM Hospice, Marian College School of Nursing, and St. Francis Nursing Home.
