He is survived by: his children, Khrist Caramanidis (Beth) and Sara Schmahl (Peter); his grandchildren, Nick Caramanidis, Lucas Caramanidis and Naomi Caramanidis; his sons, Phillip Schmahl (Emily) and Mitchell Schmahl (Kristy Schneider); his great grandchildren, Liam, Henry and Owen Schmahl; his brother Alex Caramanidis (Winnifred); and his sister-in-law Ellene Caramanidis.
