George Weigel Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Weigel (Fond du Lac, Wisconsin), born in Plymouth, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 12, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Weigel and Ruby Weigel (Grebe); his son-in-law Frank Hass; and his brother-in-law Oscar T Foote. He is survived by: his wife Diane Berens; his children, Angela Orvis (Scott), Justin Berens, John Weigel (Tanya), Tamara Hass and Michelle Perronne (Brent); his daughter-in-law Kathy Berens; his grandchildren, Alexia, Frankie, Logan, Sophia, Olivia, Cody, Erik (Tina) and Devin; his brothers, Norman Weigel (Vicki) and Delbert Weigel (Deb); his pet Kadee; and his brothers-in-law, Phil Foote (Jean), Herb Foote (Sandy Drexel), Roger Foote and Donald Foote (Greta). He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Due to the current restrictions surrounding COVID-19, cremation has taken place and a service of remembrance will be held at a later date.
