She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Mathys and Louise Mathys; and her sister Helen. She is survived by: her children, Sue Hipple (Marc), Jim Gyr (Belinda) and Kathy Gyr; her grandchildren, Doug Hipple (Beth), Michael Hipple, Kyle Gyr and Kasey Gyr; and her great grandchildren, Griffin Hipple and Weslie Hipple.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Church of Peace in Dorothy's honor or the charity of your choice.
