He was predeceased by: his parents, Dong Myung Kim and Bok Sung Lee; his grandmother Kim; his wife Hyun Sook; his siblings, Sang Hee, Young Ja, Jung Ja, Ok Hee, Chang Yol and Young Yol; and also Bok Sung Lee.
He is survived by: his brother Moo Yol Kim of Seoul; his children, Daniel K. Kim (Misook) of Lafayette, LA and Ruth Y. Park (John) of Fond du Lac, WI; his grandchildren, Hannah S. Kim (Andrew) of Decatur, GA, Major Ryan J Kim (Vy) of Harker Heights, TX, Major Rebecca E Kim of Yorktown, VA and Andrew S. Park of Milwaukee, WI; and his great grandchildren, Anderson, Josiah, Evelyn, Drew, Sonya and Maya.
COVID isolation allowed him to improve his health and when restrictions were lifted, he vigorously embarked on getting back to a routine.
