Carol A. Gaertig Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol A. Gaertig of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 3, 2024 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carol A. Gaertig to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Rieder and Marvel Rieder (Fausch); her brother David Rieder; and her niece Leigh-Ann Balthazor. She is survived by: her husband James Gaertig of Mary's Church; her sons, Neil (Nicole) and Joel Gaertig (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Victoria, Brendan, Scarlett, Holly, Jack and Gavin; her siblings, Mary Balthazor (David), Jim (Lorrie) and John Rieder (Cindy); and her sisters-in-law, Susan Rieder, Diane Langolf (Arnie) and Lisa Luedke (Dan). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family will donate funds to charitable organizations in Carol's name.
