She was predeceased by: her parents, George Schmitz and Olive Olig Schmitz; her former husband Ernest R. Schmitz; her husband Oliver M. Wehner of Mary's Catholic Church; and her brother Elmer Schmitz.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Ferschinger (Robert), Brad Schmitz and Joe Schmitz (Vickie); her grandchildren, Michael Ferschinger, Zachary Schmitz, Micah Schmitz, Asher Schmitz, Joe Schmitz Jr., Jennifer Patrick (Brian) and Nick Behring; her great grandchildren, Rylan, Taryn and Emmeryn Patrick; and her siblings-in-law, Helen Schmitz, Patricia Mertens (Clem), Georgie Smet and Harold Schmitz.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Salvation Army, Holy Family Parish, Hospice Home of Hope, or St. Vincent de Paul in Amanda's name.
