Walter H. Wilhelmi Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter H. Wilhelmi of Florence, Wisconsin, born in Abbotsford, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 3, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Wilhelmi and Amelia Wilhelmi; his wife Joyce Sternhagen of John's Lutheran Church; his son Mark Wilhelmi; his siblings, Ken Wilhelmi and Arlene Sternhagen; and his grandson Adam Schroeder.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Schroeder (Vilas) of Jackson, WI and Paula Leffler (Dick) of Florence, WI; his grandchildren, Luke (Gail), Matt Schroeder (Jodie), Sarah Steinke, Rachel Porath (Adam), Jimmy Wilhelmi and Kasey Gaston (David); and his siblings, Earl Wilhelmi (Carol) and Shirley Luehrs. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
