He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred McCoy and Ella McCoy (Olson); and his siblings, Dan McCoy, Phyllis Novak and Linda McCoy.
He is survived by: his sons, Randall McCoy and Richard "Rick" McCoy; and his sisters, Sandra McCoy, Shirley Waite (Scott), Florence and Wis.
