With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eugene W. Johnson of Florence, Wisconsin, born in Stoughton, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 15, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hans Johnson and Marie Johnson; his son Mark Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Hope McGuire and Brooke Russell.
He is survived by: his wife Florence Margaret Johnson (Hach); and his children, Linda Morke (Fred), Sharon Harter (Gary), Scott Johnson (Lisa), Laura Romesburg (Bill), Mary Cuneo, Karen McGuire (Michael), Paula Gregerson (Chad), Margaret Rocher (Erick), Daniel Johnson, Dianna Schaller (Patrick), Catherine Bessler (Greg), Phillip Johnson (Maria), Wayne Lutchman and Weimaraner Mikey Johnson.
Together they were active members of the Sons of Norway Wergeland Lodge 5-28, Immanuel Lutheran Church & School, and they routinely volunteered as RSVP ushers for the La Crosse Symphony, delivered for Mobile Meals, and volunteered for the Salvation Army and the Bloodmobile.
