He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin "Bud" McLain and Mary McLain (Majewski); and his sister Arlene Alarid. He is survived by: his wife Clara Seymour; his children, Mike, Clifford Jr., Rich, Tom McLain, Rose Bruce and Pattie Groulo (Carl); his siblings, John McLain (Joan), Jim McLain (Donna), Donna Garcia and Nancy Darcy; and his close friend Pat Stroupe. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
