He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Lautenbach and Ruth Lautenbach (Lisch); his former wife Anne Mickelson; his friend Sherry VanEnkenvoort; his wife Sherry; his children, Melissa Merkel (Brian), Chris Lautenbach (Amy), Carrie Viste (Jody), Erin Lautenbach and Anika Sullivan (Joe); his grandchildren, Audrey, Nathan, Lauren and Ashlyn; his sister Laurel Key (Cordell Smith); his nephew Coy; his niece Jessica; his stepson Jon VanEnkenvoort (Kristi); and his brothers, William and Alan.
