It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Michael Auer (Fish Creek, Wisconsin), who passed away on March 2, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Auer and Margaret Auer (Buehner); his sister Kathleen Carlson (Glenn); and his brother-in-law Jimmy Merlo (Dolly). He is survived by: his significant other Rosemary Therese Merlo; his grandchildren, Ashley Johnson (Lewis), Sophie Shields (Malik), Elizabeth Auer (Joe), John Auer III, Jacob Verfuerth and Lucas Verfuerth; his great grandchildren, Christian Johnson and Myles Johnson; and his sister Bay.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Cancer Society in John's memory are appreciated to support pancreatic and other cancer research.
