She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerome Verhasselt and Josephine Verhasselt (Bries); her husband Carl "Buck" Eckert; her son Bruce Eckert; and her siblings, Mary Thede, Rita Shebel, Basil, Leo, Jack and Orlo Verhasselt.
She is survived by: her children, Wesley Eckert (Sandra) of Hales Corners, Deborah Eckert (Jerry Butzen) of Ephraim, Mark Eckert of Waukesha and Carla Marr (Jay) of Fish Creek; her grandchildren, John, Merci, Danielle, Kelsey, Wesley, Lindsay, Dan, Nicholas and Leah; her great grandchildren, Landen, Thomas, Jack, Gabby, Emily, Jacob and Ben; and her sister Zita Wessa of Goodyear, AZ..
