She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Byrd and Anna Byrd (Aliff); and her siblings, Elbert Jr. and Barbara. She is survived by: her spouse Philmore Converse; her son Gary; her grandchildren, Alisha Converse, Michael Converse (Jessica), Lauren Simmons (Brad) and Bradley Converse; and also, Bob Converse (Norma) and Irene Converse.
